Grain Aeration

Aust-Mech are proud to be agents for Australia’s most advanced silo aeration controller. Developed by Aeration Control Australia in conjunction with the CSIRO these units feature predictive technology to constantly monitor the state of the grain in each silo independently.

Capable of controlling up to 8 silos per unit, and expandable in modules of 4 or 8 silos, the Aeration Manager will tailor fan operating times with respect to current weather conditions, grain type and volume in each silo. Unique in the market these aeration controllers give real time feedback on the condition of the grain in each silo and predict the time remaining to achieve your preset grain temperature and moisture level. Grain volume can be altered at anytime and the Aeration Manager will adjust its control process to suit.

The Aeration Manager features a touch screen display to enable easy input of current grain conditions and target conditions using up to 20 preset grain types. Using the optional web application, you can access the Aeration Manager from anywhere in the world. All you need is a computer with internet access to monitor the grain in your silos and the Aeration Manager will take care of the controlling process.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS:

Apart from the standard aeration control functions, there are a number of optional extras that can be selected when purchasing an Aeration Manager™.

Generator start option. This allows the generator to start prior to energising the fans
and shut down when aeration is no longer required.
Operational Window. Ideally, no restrictions are put on the operation of the fans but sometimes
noise issues may force you to restrict the operation of the fans to certain hours of operations.
Assisted Heating. To achieve drying conditions that make a difference to your grain it may sometimes be necessary to install heaters to the inlet of the fans. For these instances we can provide heating outputs and heater-feedback inputs.
Vent Control. 500mm long electrically operated actuators control the lids of your silos during
loading, unloading and venting operations.
Web application. Access the Aeration Manager from anywhere in the world.
